ΤECHNAP is a construction company based in Kozani, Greece. Since the establishment of the company until today, the company has completed a variety of projects, such as Construction of Infrastructure Projects, Building and Industrial Projects, Energy and Electromechanical Projects. In the field of construction of public works, the company has a 4th-grade contractual degree. Also, TECHNAP has certification of the following systems: ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management, ISO 14001: 2009 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001: 2007 Health & Safety Management.

TECHNAP consists of a multi-scientific team of engineers, building designers and technicians who provide a wide range of engineering services in order to propose innovative and cost-effective solutions, utilizing the appropriate technologies and methodologies. In all the projects in which TECHNAP has participated as a contractor or a subcontractor, high levels of quality and reliability have achieved. The strong and efficient structure of the company ensures the successful completion of every project it undertakes.

The company’s research interests focus on the connection between digitalization and all the services and data that construction and design companies provide, improving the operation and development and development of the services it offers to its customers.

SCIENTIFIC DIRECTOR

PARASKEVOPOULOS ILIAS

Mr. Paraskevopoulos is a Dr. Civil Engineer A.U.Th.(2006) and a Post-PhD in the Departement of Mechanical Engineering A.U.Th.(2012). He has been involved as a researcher in the aforementioned departments since 2002 until today (being a member of more than 10 research programs). He has been the Scientific Director of a research project(2019) and has published more than 50 papers in recognized scientific journals and conferences. As a member of the research programs, Mr. Paraksevopoulos has been involved with the development of software for construction analysis, development of detailed models of solid body contacts and modeling of complex machine components for mechanical applications that were utilized by a software company based in the USA. Since 2013 he has been working as an external collaborator in the software development company 3p Penelis Software Ltd., with main occupation the expansion of software program for the design of reinforced concrete structures. Mr. Paraskevopoulos has 17 years of professional experience in static large-scale construction studies in Greece and abroad and he is an experienced user of many structural analysis programs( SCIA Engineer, ETABS, SAP2000, SOFISTIK, FESPA, ANSYS, NASTRAN, ADAMksor, HyperW, etc.). He has collaborated with the companies Penelis Consulting Engineers SA, AKTOR, TERNA, TERNA Oversees, Redex, Vinci, EDIL etc. and he has conducted a large number of studies in Greece, Cyprus, USA, Bahrain, etc. To be more specific, he has participated in the design of the Cultural Center Stavros Niarchos Foundation in Athens, DEH Ptolemaida V thermal power plant, Leroy Merlin in Athens, Ellipse Building in New York, and of the towers in the coastal area of Ayia Napa.

REDI ENGINEERING

REDI Engineering Solutions PC is the main subcontractor for the development of the innovative DICON platform. REDI is a newly established company that unites the strong skills and experience of its team into a promising firm as an outcome of many years of collaboration in both professional and research activities. The company provides high-end structural design, rehabilitation and consultation for built assets, engineering software tools, digital innovation and research services for the enhancement of built assets’ sustainability in a multiple hazard environment.

STEFANIDOU SOTIRIA

Mrs. Stefanidou is a Dr. Civil Engineer, A.U.Th.(2016) with a MSc. degree in Seismic Design and Earthquake Engineering (2007). She has 10 years of research experience due to her participation in 9 research projects from 2007 until today. She has worked as a researcher at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and research centers (Institute of Technical Seismology and Earthquake Engineering), while she has conducted research on software companies (3p Penelis Software, TOL) and in the industry (PANELKO A.E.). She has published more than 40 papers in international journals and conferences. Also, she has experience in software development of structural analysis programs, and she has knowledge of programming languages (Fortran, Python, VBA, Matlab). Mrs. Stefanidou has 12 years of professional experience in structural studies in Greece and abroad and she is an experienced user of many structural analysis programs ( SCIA Engineer, ETABS, SAP2000, SOFISTIK, OpenSees, FESPA, etc.). Moreover, she has collaborated with the companies Penelis Consulting Engineers SA, AKTOR, TERNA, TERNA Oversees, Redex, Vinci, EDIL, etc, and she has prepared a langer number of studies in Greece, Cyprus, Bahrain, etc. Indicatively, she has participated in the implementation structural study of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, DEH Ptolemaida V thermal power plant, Leroy Merlin in Athens, and the towers in the coast area of Ayia Napa.

MARKOGIANNAKIS KONSTANTINOS

Mr. Markogiannakis Konstantinos graduated from the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Democritus University in 2010 and he continued his second cycle of undergraduate and graduate studies as a Civil Engineer at Brunel University and City University in London until 2014 respectively. In his MSc. thesis, Markogiannakis developed source code framework for the investigation of the seismic response of structural models. He has 5 years of professional experience in the supervision of building projects( buildings, road construction, building energy projects, wind farm projects etc.). He is an experienced user of CAD programs(Cadware, Autodesk Civil 3D), package suite 4M, MS Project. Also, he is an experienced building contractor. Mr. Markogiannakis participated in the management of the investment programs of TECHNAP. From 2015 he is the Vice President of the TECHNAP company and he is in charge of the financial department.

TRIGONIS STAVROS

Mr. Trigonis Stavros is an MSc. Civil Engineer at AUTh (2009) with a Master’s degree in Management of Construction Projects (2012). His master’s thesis was about the increase of the efficiency of workers’ performance in construction companies by creating incentives. He has 10 years of professional experience in the supervision and project management of construction projects(building and road construction, electromechanical projects etc.). He is an experienced user of CAD programs(Autodesk Civil 3D, Map, Architectural, KTIRIO, MicroSurvey), Autodesk 3ds max(Design of 3D Building Models), program suite of 4M, MS Project. Since 2016 he has been a member of the Board of Directors οf TECHNAP.

MIXIOS KONSTANTINOS

Mr. Mixios Konstantinos holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering (AUTh 2018) and a Master of Science Degree (MSc.) in the field of Earthquake Engineering and Seismic Design of Structures, Department of Civil Engineering (AUTh 2019). From the start of 2020, he is a Ph.D. Candidate, Department of Civil Engineering (AUTh). His MSc. thesis was conducted in the framework of the EXCHANGE-Risk research program (HORIZON 2020), where he worked as a researcher at the University of Toronto, Canada. The subject of his MSc. thesis was the parametric analysis of monotonic and cyclic behavior of soil – pipe interaction with the Finite Element Method. ). Mr. Mixios has developed Finite Element Analysis source code programs, and he is an experienced user of programming languages (Python, Java, C++, Matlab, Tkl). He holds knowledge of structural analysis programs ( OpenSees, SAP2000, SCIA Engineer, Kratos Multiphysics) and CAD programs (AutoCAD). Also, he is a code contributor to OpenSource projects.

NTOVAS PAVLOS-RAFAIL

Mr. Ntovas Pavlos-Rafail holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering (AUTh 2018) and a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in the field of Earthquake Engineering and Seismic Design of Structures (AUTh 2019). The objective of his master’s thesis was the development of macro-element for the numerical simulation of soil-pipe interaction. He participated in the EXCHANGE-Risk research program (HORIZON 2020) as a researcher at the University of Toronto, Canada. He holds knowledge of computer programming languages (Python, Matlab), and experience in CAD software (AutoCAD) and structural analysis software (SAP2000, Dlubal RFEM, SCIA Engineer).
